چکیده

When we have observations of a discrete deterministic signal (physical object) in colored Gaussian noise, it is possible to obtain asymptotically unbiased estimates of the bispectrum of the signal only at frequency pairs (al, w2) which do not satisfy any of the following: wI = 0, w 2 = 0, and o1 + w2 = 0. Several approaches reported in the literature that deal with magnitude reconstruction from bispectra use bispectrum samples that lie on one of these three straight lines, thus using samples which are biased due to noise. We propose two approaches that rectify this situation. The paper also discusses some of the tradeoffs involved in using bispectrum based reconstruction approaches vis-&vis other techniques. Applications to several types of problems are discussed.

Signal reconstruction from accumulation of bispectral radial slices

Xuejun Liao Zheng Bao Xidian University Key Laboratory for Radar Signal Processing Xi’an 710071, China E-mail: [email protected] Abstract. The problem of reconstructing signals from their noisy and randomly shifted observations is considered. Our approach is different from existing methods in the choice of slices in the bispectrum domain. Up to now only a single 45 deg slice or multiple ...

Block-Based Compressive Sensing Using Soft Thresholding of Adaptive Transform Coefficients

Compressive sampling (CS) is a new technique for simultaneous sampling and compression of signals in which the sampling rate can be very small under certain conditions. Due to the limited number of samples, image reconstruction based on CS samples is a challenging task. Most of the existing CS image reconstruction methods have a high computational complexity as they are applied on the entire im...

THEORY AND METHODS OF SIGNSL PROCESSING Signal Reconstruction by Using Normalized Bispectrum Estimates in Noise

The problem of reconstructing an unknown waveform observed in additive noise by using normalized bispectral density estimates is considered. The proposed approach is based on using a continuous-valued normalized bispectral density estimate instead of the discontinuous biphase function conventionally computed in bispectrum-based signal reconstruction algorithms. The performance and reconstructio...

بررسی تاثیر کرنل های مختلف بازسازی تصویر بر روی نویز و رزولوشن فضایی تصاویر سی تی اسکن: مطالعه بر روی فانتوم

Introduction: Noise and spatial resolution (SR) are the main characteristics of image quality in CT scanning affected by different radiation and technical parameters. One of the important parameters are reconstruction kernels. Different reconstruction kernels are used for noise reduction and/or edge-enhancement purposes. In this study, we investigate some reconstruction kern...
